Good morning fellas..
Yesterday was so beautiful, I witness 4 generations of Wallaces' go throught he Howard County System. It was fantastic. Diop is officailly done(even though he's been acting like he was done about 3 months ago). Now the next step for him his college and college girsl...damn the good ole days.
Enough about him though I saw some of the last messages left about Kobe leaving the Fakers for the Bulls. That would be perfect for the city of Chicago..they would get Lil Jordan and jump to an elite team in the East(in the eyes of Mia,Detroit,Cleveland). But I heard on espn radio that Paxson might not be willing to part ways with Loul Deng if thats what the Lakers wanted...I ask why all these GM setr themselves up for failure...If I was the bulls you could have anybody you want to get the talent of Kobe Bryant.
Did anybody watch the Cavs\Pistons game...wow I think your boy LBJ is gettingit, and like last yr I think the Pistons are in trouble. Charles made a great point yesterday...he said the Cavs should have swept the Pistons. The games they lost in Detroit where flukes. Cleveland is playing such good basketball right now, Danny Gibson hitting his shots, Gooden finally showd up, and the King is HITTING CLUTCH FREE THROWS...watch out but the Cavs are gearing up a chip run.

CONGRATS to young Op. He should have alot of fun at college. His girl doesn't stand a chance. They'll be done in a year. They played the Kobe interview on Mike&Mike this morning. Kobe is pissed at the Lakers organization. They also said for the LA/Chi trade to work it would have to be Luol/Ben/Gordon for Kobe/Bynum. But Mitch Kupchak doesn't want to part w/Bynum (dumb-azz). LBJ is looking good in the 4th (when it really counts). Danny "Boobie" Gibson is playing like a man (says he patterns his game after Chauncey). San An will close out Utah 2nite.
Kobe 'furious,' has 'trust issues' with Lakers
Despite being a month into his off-season, Kobe Bryant remains a center of attention.
The Lakers star hit the interview circuit Tuesday to denounce recent reports about him and to voice his displeasure with the team's front office.
Bryant, speaking to 710 ESPN Radio in L.A., said that a report Tuesday in the Los Angeles Times claiming it was his insistence that drove Shaquille O'Neal out of town after the 2004 season made him "beyond furious."
"The real facts are that Dr. Buss requested a meeting with me during the '04 season long before I opted out of my contract," Bryant said on a blog post at his Web site, "and he told me he had already decided to not extend Shaq, as he was concerned about Shaq's age, fitness and contract demands. Dr. Buss thought it was best for the Lakers to make a trade to get value for Shaq while they could."
The Times cited a Lakers "insider" for the information, a fact that doesn't sit well with Bryant.
"Now I hear this Lakers 'insider' said this and that, now I have serious trust issues," Bryant said Tuesday during an interview with AM 570 KLAC in L.A. "I have serious trust issues because they know I had nothing to do with that. They know that, Jerry Buss knows that because it came out of his own mouth."
Bryant said the team used him as a "scapegoat" for the O'Neal story.
"If you make decisions, stand up and stand in front of your decisions" he said. "Don't try to throw me under the bus for something I did not say, did not do."
When asked if he sensed disharmony in the Lakers' front office, Bryant said, "That place is a mess. It's a mess...
"I'm not 'dissing anybody. I want us — us — to get to a point where we're contending for titles."
O'Neal stood behind Bryant later Tuesday.
"I believe Kobe 100 percent," O'Neal said, according to a report on the Philadelphia Inquirer's Web site. "Absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind Kobe is telling the truth. I believe him a thousand percent. I would have respected Dr. Buss more as a man if he would have told me that himself, because I know he said it. But he didn't (tell me). He never said a damn word to me."
Kobe also reiterated that he did not demand a trade if the Lakers weren't able to bring Jerry West back to Los Angeles, but he also does not see the use in staying on a roster that's not getting deeper.
"If we're not making any strides here to improve this team right now, to be aggressive in that nature," Bryant said on KLAC, "you know, then what's the point of having me here?"
Bryant was asked if his seemingly strained relationship with the Lakers front office was 'reparable.'
"I don't know," he said. "I got a headache. It's been the worst day. I want to be a Laker forever. I love this team. I love this city. My kids love it here. I woke up this morning training hard, ready for USA Basketball...despite all of this. I finish my training...all of a sudden, I pick up the paper and read this 'Laker insider' thing, and that just absolutely took it to another level."
Bryant had told the Times on Sunday that West, the former Lakers general manager, might be a solution to fix the team's current woes.
"My feeling on Jerry West is I trust him completely," Bryant said, according to the paper. "I don't want to get into people believing me to be bashing anybody. (Current GM Mitch Kupchak) is a great guy. All I can go by is what has happened with this team the last two years, and I know Jerry West is a guy who's great at what he does.
"He wants to win and he wants to win right now. I can roll with that, even if we don't have the complete turnaround we're hoping to have this summer. Just having him back in the nucleus will help."
West, the current GM of the Grizzlies, will complete his contract with Memphis on July 1, but Lakers officials refused comment to the Times on the subject.
Bryant stated in Sunday's Times report that his future with the team did not depend on West's return, despite an ESPN.com report that suggested otherwise.
"I would love for him to be a part of this," Bryant said, according to the Times. "But it's not something where I demand he comes here. All I can do is offer my thoughts. I love being a Laker. I want to retire a Laker. I want to fix this thing, or at least help any way I can."
After winning three straight titles from 2000-2002, the Lakers again made the Finals in 2004, but lost to the Pistons in five games. Shaquille O'Neal left after that season, and Los Angeles has not won a playoff series since.
Kupchak was a protégé of West's when the latter was still with the Lakers. The report said both Bryant and Kupchak remain close to West, who may opt to retire following the completion of his term in Memphis.
West reigned over the "Showtime"-era Lakers of the late '80s before resurrecting the franchise by drafting Bryant and acquiring O'Neal from the Orlando Magic in the span of a week in 1996.
Can somebody please tell me what is so special about Bynum??? Is he the nexr Shaq(no), Zo(no), so why arent they willing to make moves....this is why Kobe is so mad, they wont pull the trigga. I will say this about Kobe, he doesnt like losen and you have to respect that.
Yeah Utah is goin home tonite..what a waste of a trip should have lost both games in Utah so they could start there summer vaction. Im really feeling the way the Cavs are playing...it seems like there not scared of Detroit....Cleveland is making that push....Hey Rome how my boy look hitting those 2 big free throws with 4 seconds left and Rip was tryn to ice him.....
I like Bynum, but not enuff that I won't trade his azz in a heartbeat to better my team. To me, that was the biggest play of the game. LBJ hitting two free throws w/super-confidence. Ur supastar has 2 be able to hit clutch free throws. Rip is really playn like a snitch. Drew Gooden has come to play and like Barkley said, Cle should have swept Det. Not tryn to take anything away from Cle but I think it is more of Det offensively playing horrible than anything else. Chauncey has more to's than assists (very uncharacteristic of him). Rip is avg'n 9pts, there are very stagnant on offense and impatient. Cle does play great defense though.
Damn Rome why you always tryn to shyt on the Cavs. Larry Hughes on Billups is a tough match-up. Billups game is based on being able to take smaller gaurds down on the block and post up. He also normally can take the guards off the dribble. With Larry Hughes he cant do that. Also Sasha is a solid defender, he's cutiing off Rips angles and he's up in his face. Thats good defense. Add on top of that they dont give up many second chance points. Im not sayn that Detroit isnt playing bad, but Cleveland took them to 7 last yr and they(Cavs) area mutch better team this yr.
I'm not shyttn on the Cavs and I agree with everything you just said. That is why for Det to win this series they need Wallace/McDyess/Maxiell to play good. Because there guards are locked up. TayShaun goes off when LBJ is checkin him.
Congrats to the boy Diop...he is about to embark on a great journey of manhood...he is going to meet people he can't trust and lifelong friends....it is a wonderful thing....and Lebron is playing like a true champ...this is turning into a great series...I would love to see a game 7 with all the pressure on both teams...and see who comes out on top...
Oh, there is going to be a game 7 fo sho'..Wassup you and Charles Utah pick???
If kobe goes to the bulls the bulls cant give up all its young talent. deng or gordon must stay. he will still need talent around him so if he goes to the bulls and they trade everybody to get him his situation wont be any better. im all for him leaving to go to a better team or the lakers getting him help. im furious also.

Well there is noway that the Bulls will be able to keep Deng and Gordan, 1 of them has to go. I would much rather push Gordan off on the Lakers then Deng. Deng could be a perfect complement player for Kobe. But Benny Wallace\Gordan\Norchoni(sp) and our pick you can have. That would give the Fakers solid young players, and the Bulls the players they need.
That Utah pick is sinking like the Titanic...lol...yeah Deng should be the one to stay with Chicago...
way to many foreign players on the Jazz squad. They need to give Millsap some more time out there and less Okur and AK47. Also they need a shoting guard..DFish isnt the answer...lol
yeah, Utah is mad light. Deng would definitley help Kobe a lot. But this deal won't go down anyway.
nigga trade everyone... its not often u get a kobe bryant...send Deng,Nochioni and the draft pick.. and get them out of town... peeaaaaaaaace!!!!
Well im already packing my bags. Im catching the first flight out of LA and where me and kobes plane lands is where it lands. This is crazy. Kobe is the only player in the world who can drawf the conference finals and maybe the nba finals by not even playing. Now thats star power.
